Dota 2 has a ton of heroes. As of March 2018, they have exactly 115. I know a lot about Dota, but that info seems to disappear while I’m playing Dota. Hot dota 2 heroes alphabetical I forget what items and heroes do on a consistent and scary basis, even though I could tell you that info in any other setting.

To that end, I’m setting off on a journey of sorts. I’m going to play at least one match with every single Dota 2 hero in alphabetical order, and write small guides for each. Yes, I’m also counting heroes I currently play and am decent with. These will essentially discuss the hero’s playstyle, difficulty, pros and cons, and whether or not I humiliated myself in my research. I plan on doing multiple heroes per post and will link them here, in a handy list, showing who I have yet to play. The size of the posts and their publication consistency may vary.

Fair warning: these guides are not focused on professional-level play. They’re meant to give intermediate, casual players a rough idea of what every hero is like, without having to play them. This is written for players with a few hours in Dota 2 who want to continue to learn the game and move past the beginner scene, without going “tryhard.” In essence, you won’t need to read a million in-depth guides or drop 115 matches into Dota just to understand who you’re up against. That’s my job! I’m playing these heroes and explaining their skills and roles in layman’s terms. I hope you enjoy.
