Well techncly. theres no use for thr cosmetic givaways. since it cant be sold in market. and also because of the number of user that has one. i mean it doesnt even feel special if u have one expt for gold ones.

How are they going to run their business if they don’t try to make money? It’s good enough it’s such a great game and it’s FREE – and not pay to win – for people who are not interested in comestics.

Come on some of the stuff in this game is in no way worth $50 or more for a skin. Valve has designed a system that plays off the suckers like CSGO paying stupid money for skins. It used to be a cool set was $5 or so. Then came random treasures a few bucks but you might not get what you want. Next fancy Arcana skins come along for more money but you can buy without RNG. Finally the compendium where you will likely spend $50-200 just to get that one item you want. Which makes that one really cool item all of a sudden worth more then it’s really worth.

Sure you get a bunch of free fluff that you probably would not have bought otherwise. And that’s where it just turned to greed forcing players to pay way more than skins are really worth. It’s a pure money grab and Gayben is lauging all the way to the bank on this one.

Yes I too gave in a few rounds to support a game I enjoyed. But at some point I have to say is this game really worth nearly $200+ per year just to equip some skins they can remove at anytime? To me the answer is no they don’t add enough to this game for me to see the value in continuing to pay for Compendiums. The whole Arcade bit is not really my thing. And I don’t give a flying monkeys ♥♥♥♥ about some Asians winining huge sums for playing e-sports. Nor do I think it’s fair that most e-sports barely includes many US players who tend to be the ones supporting the payouts for these matches. Why should I support some Asian with no life or job to play DOTA for a living? They can shove their Compendiums where the sun don’t shine at this point.

Dota is a toxic ♥♥♥♥ game where u cant even enjoy a single game even if ur all equipd with immortals and arcana if the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ valve wony even fix its community
