Ingame mouse sensitivity control?

Is there such thing at the moment? The speed of the cursor is terribly slow for me. Only after my first game (with Lich) my wrist is already hurting from trying to reach one end of screan to the other. This also forced me into some pretty frustrating moments. Most probably I will not play it further, or at least not untill a sensitivity option is introduced. It is just barely possible to get a good control on one hero, but what about if I get Necromicon, Necrolic’s bats or some other more micro-intensive requiring gameplay going on? It will be simply impossible. And no, I don’t have preset buttons for sensitivity on my mouse, neither I am really willing to change Windows Control Panel options every now and then.

edit: Ok, I found out how to open the console, but changing it there does nothing – from 1 to 1000000 there is no change.

Which console command did you use? There are many regrading the mouse.

Yes, I used the sensitivity. And as I said already – nothing happens.

I was told as well that there is an option the main menu. But there I can only find Cam Speed and Cam Acceleration.

Those are the option you’r looking for. Try to go with max. Cam Acceleration and then try to find the Cam Speed you feel most comfortable with.

No you didn’t, you didn’t stipulate which command you used. As stated above there are lots of console commands relating to mouse settings.

Name one which works.

I played with the Cam sliders but they have nothing to do with mouse sensitivity. How do I have to explain it? I am not talking about the speed I move the cam with the mouse! I am talking about solely the speed of the mouse pointer.

If you need me to explain in so much details, here is what I did.

1) went into steam, dota2 -> properties. added – console in the “set launch options. ” field, because it was not opening when i press `.
2) started the game. made a lobby with bots and started the game
3) I entered “sensitivity” in the console. a line appeared saying that the sensitivity is set to 3.
4) I started entering all kind of values – 1, 10000, 999, 3, 7, 999.99
5) after seeing that nothing happens I restarted the game. typed sensitivity again to see if the last value is saved and it was set at maximum value, because I have entered something like 100000000000 ->”sensitivity” = “10000000.000000”
6) mouse speed is still at default speed as it was before, no matter the value of sensitivity setting in the console.

I am not sure if I can/have to explain in further details. If you want me to tell more, please, be more specific.
