[Suggestion] Implement random fun names for heroes for epicness
In DotA, every once in a while, IceFrog used to decide editing the units to have some fun names for them. Those names had some random chance to be there on your hero, indicating that you are an epic Wisp, Ezalor, Antimage; and your enemies will be stomped.
Here is a list of heroes that have fun names to themselves in the latest DotA map, along with their fun names:
| Keeper of the Light: | 1/8 chance to be the epic Gandalf (rest are Ezalor) |
| Anti Mage: | 1/7 chance to be the epic BurNIng (rest are Magina) |
| Enchantress: | 1/8 chance to be the good old Bambi (rest are Aiushtha) |
| Tinker: | 1/7 chance to be the X!! , how awesome is that? (rest are Boush) |
| Shadow Fiend: | 1/11 chance to be the epic YaphetS – video link, no one has ever lost after getting this name with 9% chance. (rest are Nevermore) |
| Dragon Knight: | 1/7 chance to be the Trogdor – reference link (the rest are Knight Davion) I did not even know what Trogdor was 😀 |
| Zeus: | 1/8 chance to be the epic Merlini – video link (rest are Zeus) |
| Ursa Warrior: | 2/13 chance to be the Fuzzy Wuzzy instead of the regular Ulfsaar |
| Vengeful Spirit: | 1/4 chance to be the 820 (. ) instead of the Shendelzare Silkwood |
| Axe: | 1/7 chance to be the epic Mogul Kahnt Touch This – music video link, the spinluck axe, instead of the regular Mogul Kahn |
| Sniper: | 1/10 chance to be the historically epic Vasilij Zajcev (what :D) instead of the Kardel Sharpeye |
| Faceless Void: | 1/8 chance to be the Gorzerk (a French DotA tool maker I think. ) instead of the Darkterror |
| Razor: | 1/8 chance to be the quality brand Gillette instead of a regular Razor |
| Riki: | 1/10 chance to be the Riki Martin instead of the Rikimaru, when you get this, you shall go out to make 3 |
5 girls chase you down just by walking on the street
The orange ones are pure yellow in-game with the color code FFFF00 in hex, and the black ones are white as the default name color in W3. The white background on this board makes it really hard to see the yellow color, so I’ve put them in orange.
I will edit the post to make it look like a proper thread afterwards. I have promised li. lo to make the thread within 10 minutes, so I’ll just post it like this for now

– Fixed the mis-spelling with Gillette and Vasilij Zajcev
– Fixed the incorrect probabilities for Kunkka’s names
