Dota 2 dark angel set price

Hey guys, i recently got lucky with the compendium and managed to get the Dark Artistry set for Invoker. Anyone has any idea how much it might cost? I’ve been checking the stats on Dotahatstats and up till now it is still a really rare item.

Also another question, why of all the items from the latest Compendium, from the early treasure 1 items to the latest treasure 2 ultra rares, why only the Mace Of Aeons is instantly tradeable and marketable? Is there something behind it that everyone should know?

The invoker set is around 200 dollars, arm and a leg. And one human soul

anything that isn’t ultra rare cannot be traded. this is done to avoid market saturation devaluing the items and also so that valve makes more money – want a specific normal rarity item? open 6 treasures.

rare rewards aren’t rare enough for them to have significant value if they’re made marketable. look at sf desolator arms or zeus bolt from last year. so valve makes more money off making people level their compendium for treasures to get rare rewards.

i assume mace of aeons is tradable because it’s from the first immortal treasure which was released earlier. the invoker set is going to be tradable in a couple of days, one week after the immortal 2 was released. im willing to bet the mace of aeons was also tradable one week after immortal 1 was released.

Don’t sell it. I originally thought there would be somewhat a close number of Invoker sets to mace (1500). Looking at dotahatstats we can see there are 209 currently plus any still bundled which players have kept to sell at a higher price. Taking into account how much harder it is to acquire treasure II the actual total number of Invoker sets might be closer to 500 not 1500 which makes this set ridiculously rarer than most of the older stuff dc hooks etc where there was high demand but 20k items.
If you can buy an Invoker set for under $200 buy as many as you can as this item is expected to soar. Expect VPGame high rollers and other high rollers to buy them all out of the market which will also lead to price rises.

You should sell when you can, because the set it will be devaluated soon, I remember the last year “World Chasm Artifact” for enigma costed 200 USD at first, but now its like 1 dolar.

yeah if anything the price will devaluate as time goes on, not increase. I’d like for someone to give an example of an item that has ever increased in value from the moment it became available. I cant think of any.

so can the alternate styles of the quests be traded? I have the first set for Windranger but i want the second style and a friend said that they would trade with me because he doesnt even play windranger.

There are 226827 world chasms available and a niche player base who would want it.
Compare that to around 500 Invoker sets at best 700 and the strong demand for it.

At first chasm has only 350 in the world. there are a lot of people who recieved only 1 Inmortal treasure 2 because acording the level of their Battlepass. Everybody can reach the battle pass levels till 9/06/2016. so you can see how many dark artistry set would be.
