( be prepared to get flamed at because people in pub games hate sniper and consider him a noob-hero )

So far I usually stick with the Take Aim and Headshot upgrade.
I try to get Gloves of Haste, Crystalis/Daedalus within the first 10 mins

Sounds effective enough, although Shadow Blade works great in early pub games.
It gives you an escape-mechanism and adds a nice bonus damage if you step out of invisibility by attacking.
Gloves of haste can be built into Maelstorm and Maelstorm into Mjolnir. Quite an expensive item but it allows you to ravage some teams all by yourself and greatly improves your attack speed.

Phase boots -> Yasha -> Crystalis -> MANTA -> make reip. Phase boots give you much needed maneuverability and after you have crystalis and manta build you can just go to town since the illusions from manta, while doing only 33% base damage (if I remember correctly) DO full crit damage and DO headshot giving much more stun and annoyance. After you have Manta you can either go for MKB for some more annoying mini-bash or finish Daedalus to get even more ridiculous crits. I recommend going for MKB then Daedalus to get that attack speed from MKB thus making headshot and crystalis proc more often.
