Dota 2 beta key questions

It’s as simple as that, it just does not appear. I have looked at other questions with this problem but no answer has been found that I’m aware.

I’ve tried re-installing dota already, after that I have no clue what the problem could be. I was not in the dota beta and from what I’ve gathered there’s no need to have been. There’s no way it could have been hidden.

Could anyone help? Thanks in advanced.

if i’m not wrong, test client aka Dota 2 Beta only available for those who have pre-access to Dota 2 when it started, include those who got keys, those who was picked and given free keys.
idk about you but i’m one of the people who was given free keys and have access to Dota 2 and Dota 2 Beta at the moment.

. or if you have a friend who had access to dota 2 test client, ask them to authorize your pc, you will get all list of games that their have.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but my friend and I must have the same IP address (meaning one of us is supposed to go to friend’s/my house) in order for steam to allow access on authorizing our PCs? The list of people that I could only authorize are my brother and my sister’s account apparently.

The person need to login his account onto your pc 1st so he could authorize your pc, thats how i did on my lil bro pc and my other pc, they cant authorize your pc by just “tick” the option on steam settings.

It doesnt matter if you dont have the same IP address but. there is a catch, only one user per game, meaning if someone plays the game, you cant play the game unless you are the owner which the system will force them to logout for you 😀
