For some reason I am harassed because I know how good Antimage is when placed in the mid-lane position. If I die even just once they complain like its the end of the world. I go to gank and then they say that I have lost mid, and call for other people to report me.
I will tell you the reasons he is great when played in mid.
1) He counters many of the most over used mid heroes (Pudge, Invoker, Tinker, Storm, etc)
2) He is very level dependent. Even more so than farm dependent (and that’s saying a lot)
3) He is a great ganker; especially when he gets ultimate ability.
4) If he can get Manta ASAP he can get lots of kills, so he doesn’t need to farm a Battlefury.
5) His blink allows for easy escape if the other team attempts to gank him, or if the other mid decides to go on him for any reason.

I made this post more to get you guys to get off my ♥♥♥. I will not stop going mid Antimag since I play that hero in that position very well (unless, of course, people complain and I get upset).

Also for all of you people who decide to say something bad about someone’s game because they are doing something you dont like or is deferant from the normal, and then call them a child for fighting back or raging, get the hell out. To some people DotA is actually important and they are trying to improve their skills enough to play at tournament-level, or sometimes they have just low self esteem.

anyone can do well mid if played correctly especially farm dependant, though sniper might be a small problem since am is squishy but otherwise nothing wrong with it
