Joakim “Akke” Akterhall is a Swedish professional Dota 2 player currently teamless. He is known for his support play, which includes his renowned Chen and Enchantress .

Professional Career [ edit ]

Team_Team [ edit ]

In 2006, Akke along with highschool friend Loda became a part of Team_Team. The team signed up for an ESL qualifier, and shortly upon winning, Loda was approached by Maelk to form a new team; Jukes on You, which Akke was invited to.

Jukes on You [ edit ]

JoY had their first professional win at the MYM Prime Defending #3, which in turn secured them sponsorship under the MYM Organization.

Meet Your Makers [ edit ]

Under sponsorship (and name) of MYM, Akke along with fellow teammates managed to win Dreamhack Winter 2006. Following the win, the team had many fluctuations in the roster, resulting in Akke and Loda’s departure from the team.

Return to Team_Team [ edit ]

After their departure, Akke and Loda reformed Team_Team. In early 2007, Akke and team managed a win at MYM Prime Defending #5, bringing along with them a new meta game in the form of a global strategy. In mid 2007 Team_Team secured a runner-up position, second to former team MYM at Dreamhack Summer 2007.

SK Gaming [ edit ]

On the 30th June 2007, less than a month after their placement at Dreamhack Summer 2007, SK Gaming picked up Team_Team. In late 2007, SK Gaming came second place at Dreamhack Winter 2007, only to be beaten by MYM. In 2008 SK Gaming had their first win, followed by many more and quick rise to fame. At the top of their game, the team managed to win ESL Major Playoffs, and MYM Prime Defending #9 and #10. The team reached their peak at the ESWC in Paris, then Dreamhack Summer 2008.

After attempting to combine professional gaming and university study, Akke realised he could not find the time to practice enough, and as such left SK and professional gaming.

eXperience Gaming [ edit ]

After returning to gaming, Akke started playing Heroes of Newearth with lifelong friend Loda, until leaving in late 2011 and going to new game, Dota 2, were he formed team eXperience Gaming with Loda. Dota 2 akke support groups After some impressive games, xP was picked up by Counter Logic Gaming mid tournaments, who then went on to place 3rd and 5th at Dota2Replays Brawl and The Premier League respectively in 2012.

Counter Logic Gaming [ edit ]

Akke then after some roster changes, competed with CLG in the biggest Dota 2 event at the time – The International 2012. The team entered the tournament as one of the European favorites, only to be eliminated due to Orange after making 5th place in their group. After a period of inactivity, Akke left CLG to join Loda in No Tidehunter.

No Tidehunter [ edit ]

In late 2012, No Tidehunter picked up Akke and Loda. Dota 2 akke support groups The new team roster had their first win at Dreamhack Winter 2012, beating many big names in Dota 2 at the time. They then went on to win many more tournaments including three EMS One Spring Cups and the StarLadder Star Series Season 5. In 2013 No Tidehunter was picked up by the newly formed team Alliance, under sponsorship of Razer.

Alliance [ edit ]

Alliance was created in 2013 and consisted of players from No Tidehunter. The team went on to win many tournaments, and in the process brought themselves to fame. The most notable win of Alliance was at The International 2013, who coupled with innovative strategies went on to take first place and half a million dollars. Since then Alliance has won more tournaments, and is famous amongst the Dota 2 community.
