They blame you if you lose, they laugh at you and they say “got carried” if win. I dont get ppl how do they not know luna is a support hero like why report me i dont deserve it
game 1 – me and medusa said to our last pick that we don’t have tinker catch he picked brood although he won lane but he bought radiance – aint my fault if your item choice is bad
game 2 – okay why do ppl magic build sf with a luna and drow on your team and also aint my fault if you just blink in without bkb

“nc youtube” “youtube more” I was playing support luna before I’ve seen the bowie video about support luna and i was like ”why spread my secret” well apparently i didnt know it was a thing at high mmr but come ppl stop living in a cave you can support a riki and no one gives an f but you cant support luna where’s justice here

I make my own meta I play whatever I feel it’s good before it was cool
Played deso PA when ppl still buying Bfury and Vlads/domi (not on this account)
Played pos 4 mirana before it was cool
Played Morph Support after the concecutive buffs and changed of ult
I probably started the Bounty Hunter dagon build at around 2014 but idk tho millions of players it’s probably it’s not just me who thought of that
9 months ago I spammed Night Stalker because I know he’s op 23/36 wins like 2 months ago ppl are just realising he’s op

last time i saw some one picking luna 5, it was on my 2k smurf (!!) i lost the game, 10 games before it i won, 10 games after it i won, the game i had luna 5 i lost. i guess he didnt deserves the report he got from me 🙂
end of story.

Other picks do it better. Even morphling support is more valuable.

On the youtube thing, it’s part of the learning curve so if they don’t watch pros replay/stream they are the ones who are wrong.
Who used to drop/put in backpack stats items while regenerating (shrine/mango/salve) before pros did it on the big stage ? People watching streams and youtube.

The lower the rank the longer it takes for new strategies to disseminate.

Kept playing with and vs a Luna-support spammer during my Divine climb, he was pretty good. Not sure if Luna has gained viability since a month or two ago. She seems good if you can play it right and if her lanes aren’t too fucked. Get that Max aura and a Vlads and take fights to win.

Blame hero-guides for that. They immortalize a hero’s role to a specific one for a certain period until it gets buffed or nerfed. Repeat the process.

^It’s not about hero-guides, it’s about the simple statement that, except in some very specific lineups based on synergies with her, other supports do it better than Luna. Aa dota 2 build luna That’s it.

– Low CD nuke : Skywrath mage (more dmgs, bigger mana pool)
– Long range stun : Arrow potm, Jakiro ice path
– Long range catch : Disruptor glimpse
– Ultying to kill 1v1 target (RNG on the beams landing on the same target in an other scenario) : Skywrath (with lower cd)
– INT buff from aura (mana + mana regen) : Kotol (with cd red), CM (global)
– AGI buff from aura (AS) : Bloodlust ogre (gives MS as well)
– STR buff from aura (HP) : Heavenly grace omniknight (gives status resistance as well), all healers (oracle, dazzle)
– Dmg buff from aura : Empower magnus (gives cleave as well)

Saying that you play Luna pos5 for her godlike golden skin or with big synergies is legit but she is not a strong pos5 as is.

i’ve picked it a few times, never got flamed. If they flame, mute the brain-dead monkeys that are still living in 2016.

They removed the aura talent a long time ago. Support Luna can’t win you games like before.

Just only pick her pos4 with a str offlaner. She’s pretty weak otherwise.

coms – yep cores and support are switching roles like every 5 patch of nerfs and buffs

Aa dota 2 build luna Pride – Most heroes you suggested needs at least your core picking good heroes and i dont wanna gamble with that cos almost every core just pick whatever they like as long as it doesnt get countered by enemy; they barely synergize with their team’s pick (played mag 5 i never win)

Seems like another victim card. And let me explain what I mean.

You’re losing because you won’t adapt anymore. Take a break from Dota. Aa dota 2 build luna You did not play Bounty Hunter until mid 2014, where you built BF and Deso every game, until September, where you adapted to the burst meta of later 2014, before the burst nurfs and magic resist changes. You lost the games, until you went dagon – which still didnt win consistently.

You want to win the way you want, which is fun, but not plausible without a party or teammates that know your strategy and play around it. Heros can fill multiple roles, but it is not fair to assume that random PUBS will trust your strategy, because especially at Legend, you’re going to have softlocked Underlords v. s. Pudges that you’ll need to work with to win.

You claim to forge the Meta, but people had been talking about how strong burst was – especially against low skill players, like myself at the time, being that I had just started playing. I remember waking in cold sweat, thinking there’s a riki with a dagon hunting me while I played lifestealer jungle. since they, and I, did not know how to play around it.

A “before it was cool” mentality doesn’t entitle you to ruin the games in the eyes of your teammates, the same way you’d assume if you had a techies going pos 1 building right click because of their damage talent. It can work, but it’s not plausible, especially with the current meta. Aa dota 2 build luna The same can be said about pos 5 luna building utility. A hero with no utility spells (besides the mini stun, and lackluster passive) building utility, when you have much better options like Abba, or Tide.
